Buddy Streeper wins 7th Fur Rondy World Championship Sunday

An awesome three days for Blayne “Buddy” Streeper as the Fort Nelson, British Columbia musher won his 7th World Championship title. Streeper is now just one victory behind legendary musher Roland “Doc” Lombard and three shy of all–time leader George Attla. The three days of racing happened on three ideal weather days in Anchorage. 23 mushers began the event Friday…22 finished with rookie Rejean Thierrien scratching Sunday.
