TEAM NOTES: UAA ranks 18th in NCAA Div. II with 2.33 blocks per set … of the 290 teams in D-II volleyball, UAA ranks no lower than 74th in any of the seven major statistical categories … the Seawolves are No. 2 in the GNAC in opponent attack percentage (.149) and aces per set (1.64) and rank in the top half of every league category … the Seawolves have clinched their 11th straight winning season, extending the program record that began with Chris Green’s arrival at UAA in 2008 … UAA has also extended streaks of 10 straight winning conference records and top-4 conference finishes … the Seawolves are 59-12 (.831) at the Alaska Airlines Center since its opening in Sept. 2014 and 105-23 (.820) at home since 2009; UAA has never lost consecutive matches at the Alaska Airlines Center … the Seawolves are 18-13 against AVCA Top 25 teams since 2014 and 28-40 overall against ranked opponents under Green; prior to Green’s arrival, UAA had lost 32 prior to nationally ranked foes.

OPPONENT SKETCHES: Seattle Pacific has been streaky all season, posting win streaks of five (9/8 to 9/20) and three (10/11 to 10/16), and losing skids of four (8/24 to 8/31), four (9/27 to 10/6) and three (10/20-current) … the Falcons are led by Gabby Oddo (3.35 kps, .198 att%, 3.02 kps) and setter Symone Tran (10.00 aps, 3.20 dps, 0.49 bps) … Saint Martin’s has won two of its last six – including a 3-1 home win over Northwest Nazarene last week – following an 11-match losing skid … the Saints, from Lacey, Wash., are led by Megan Vernoy (3.23 kps, .230 att%) and Rachel Gondrezick (2.78 kps, .147 att%, 2.77 dps).
