JUST WHEN THEY WERE READY TO PLAY, THE RUG GETS PULLED OUT AGAIN ON UAA VOLLEYBALL. THE ABBREVIATED SPRING SEASON WAS SET TO BEGIN THIS WEEKEND IN FAIRBANKS, BUT IT WAS ANNOUNCED WEDNESDAY THAT THE MATCHES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID PROTOCOLS. THE PRESS RELEASE FROM UAA DIDN’T INDICATE WHICH TEAM CALLED IT OFF, BUT DID SAY UAA COACH CHRIS GREEN WAS HOPEFUL TO RESCHEDULE. A UAF RELEASE SAID THE NANOOKS WILL PLAY AN INTERSQUAD SCRIMMAGE FRIDAY INSTEAD.
