The four-day affair ended with an entertaining finale, as the Dimond Lynx edged the Service Cougars 8-6 Sunday afternoon. Teams from East, Mat-Su, Service, South, Dimond, Chugiak, West, Bartlett, the Kenai Peninsula, The Free Agents (guys who didn’t get on a school roster) and The Outsiders (local hockey greats who didn’t go to high school here) made it a fun happening, and fans filled the parking lot at the Subway Sports Centre. Fun, fast, entertaining hockey! Sponsored by the Scotty Gomez Foundation! Great stuff, boys!
