THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END TONIGHT AS THE ASAA-FIRST NATIONAL BANK STATE DIVISION ONE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BETWEEN SERVICE AND SOUTH HAPPENS AT THE ANCHORAGE FOOTBALL STADIUM. THE COUGARS EARNED THEIR SPOT WITH A WIN OVER COLONY LAST WEEKEND, WHILE THE WOLVERINES EDGED WEST ACROSS TOWN. THE TWO TEAMS MET DURING THE REGULAR SEASON, WITH SERVICE TAKING A 37-20 WIN ON THE SOUTH TURF IN WEEK SIX. IT’S THE FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP GAME APPEARANCE FOR SERVICE SINCE 2013, WHILE SOUTH IS RETURNING FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2014. KICKOFF IS AT 7:00 TONIGHT AT AFS.
