24 SLED DOG RACERS AGES 4 TO 17 YEARS OLD TOOK TO THE TOZIER TRACK FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID-TEENS FOR THE 2021 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.

THERE WERE JUST TWO TEAMS COMPETING IN THE 7 DOG RACES. JOHANNA BADELICH HELD OFF MARILLA TICHOTSKY BY JUST A 7 SECOND THREE-DAY TOTAL MARGIN TO WIN THE TITLE.

IN THE 5 DOG CLASS, MIA MARUSKIE TOOK 4 DOGS TO THE FINISH LINE EACH DAY FOR THE VICTORY. MIRA FRANZ WAS SECOND, ASHER ENGEBERG THIRD.

THE THREE DOG CLASS HAD 6 RACERS, AND WAS WON BY ARIEN SANDERSON. EZRA ENDERBERG WAS SECOND FOLLOWED BY DALTON NARDINI.

THE TWO DOG RACE HAD 6 COMPETITORS. LEONIE TETZNER SET A NEW TRACK RECORD FOR 2.3 MILES AND TOOK FIRST PLACE. ELI MARKLEY WAS SECOND AND THALE RANDALL THIRD.

AND IN THE ONE DOG RACE OVER ONE-EIGHTH OF A MILE, FINN DRINKWATER BLAZED THE TRAIL TO THE WIN WITH CORA ALOYSIUS SECOND AND HUNTER STERLING THIRD.
