AFTER A HOME SPLIT OF TWO MATCHES, INCLUDING A VICTORY OVER NUMBER 2 RANKED AND UNDEFEATED WESTERN WASHINGTON SATURDAY, THE UAA VOLLEYBALL TEAM RETURNS TO THE COURT TONIGHT, AND AGAIN IN A BIG RIVALRY MATCHUP. FAIRBANKS IS IN TOWN TO FACE THE SEAWOLVES AT THE ALASKA AIRLINES CENTER, AND REVENGE CERTAINLY WOULD SEEM TO BE ON THE MIND OF THE HOME TEAM. THE NANOOKS TOOK DOWN THE SEAWOLVES LAST MONTH, AND HAS WON THE LAST TWO TIMES THE TEAMS HAVE PLAYED. TONIGHT’S MATCH HERALDS THE START OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE GNAC SEASON, WITH THE SEAWOLVES IN SECOND PLACE IN THE GREAT NORTHWEST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE, ONE GAME BEHIND WESTERN WASHINGTON AND ONE GAME AHEAD OF SIMON FRASER. FIRST SERVE TONIGHT IS AT 7:00. AFTER TONIGHT, UAA HEADS TO MONTANA STATE-BILLINGS FOR A MATCH THURSDAY.
