THE GAME WAS COMPETITIVE, BUT LITTLE MISTAKES TURNED INTO PENALTIES, IN TURN POWER PLAY GOALS, AND THE UAA SEAWOLVES DROPPED THEIR NON-CONFERENCE GAME 4-3 TO NEBRASKA-OMAHA THURSDAY NIGHT. THE MAVERICKS SCORED TWICE ON THE POWER PLAY, INCLUDING THE GAME-WINNING GOAL LATE IN THE THIRD PERIOD BY JOEY ABATE. UAA GOT GOALS FROM BRAYDEN CAMRUD, MARCUS MITCHELL AND RYLEE ST. ONGE. THE MAVERICKS OUTSHOT THE SEAWOLVES 30-22 FOR THE GAME. THE TWO TEAMS FINISH THEIR SERIES FRIDAY NIGHT.

SETTER ELLEN FLOYD HAD 51 ASSISTS, OUTSIDE HITTER EVE STEPHENS 19 KILLS, AND THE UAA SEAWOLVES VOLLEYBALL TEAM HELD OF NORTHWEST NAZARENE 3 SETS TO 1 THURSDAY NIGHT IN NAMPA, IDAHO. VANESSA HAYES ADDED 13 KILLS FOR UAA, WHO WITH THE WIN PULL BACK TO WITHIN ONE GAME OF FIRST PLACE WESTERN WASHINGTON. UAA CONCLUDES THE ROAD TRIP WITH A MATCH AT CENTRAL WASHINGTON SATURDAY.
